ABOUT ME

I’ve always been curious. I love learning, exploring new ideas, and figuring out what happens when I follow my imagination wherever it leads. That curiosity is at the heart of my creative practice.

I’m a self-taught artist and a proud creative “jack of all trades.” I enjoy working across photography, collage, assemblage, digital art, and whatever other medium happens to capture my attention. I don’t believe I have to choose just one way of making art. For me, the fun is in experimenting, trying something new, making discoveries, and sometimes surprising myself along the way. The finished piece is important, but the journey of getting there is often the best part.

I’ve been exhibiting and curating exhibitions since 2008, and my work is part of a variety of corporate and private collections, including Saint Mary of the Springs Mother House, Saint Joseph Montessori School, The Hilton Columbus, Franklin County Treasurer’s Office, Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, Northside Neighborhood Pride Center, Amethyst Women’s Recovery Center, and the Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services.

I’m also a member of Creative Women of Color and a certified SoulCollage® Facilitator. I believe creativity has a way of helping us slow down, see things differently, connect with ourselves and one another, and build community.

One of the things I enjoy most is sharing creativity with children and young people. I love creating spaces where they can experiment without worrying about getting it “right.” A space where they can use their imaginations, discover their own voices, and realize that their ideas are worth exploring.

For me, art is about curiosity, connection, and possibility. There’s always something new to discover, and I’m still happily exploring.
